SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Clients
Many photographers worry they’ll come across as pushy or inauthentic — especially when they’re trying to encourage clients to invest beyond the digital files. But here’s the truth: Selling doesn’t have to feel “salesy.” In fact, it shouldn’t. Authentic sales are about connection, not persuasion. About guiding, not guilting. Here’s what that might look in practice: Not: “You need this album or you’ll regret it.” Instead: “Most of my couples say they’re so glad to have something tangible from the day. To View More >>

Previous | Contents | Next Download the eBook "That process has two distinct stages—before and after the shoot. We often make the mistake of making our marketing about ourselves — what we're doing, and what we need, rather than the value we're creating for our audience. People who write code love what they do, but their customers don't. They just want an app that works. You love photography but your clients love the memories you make for them. Memories or a picture for the wall. When you're thinking about business or marketing campaigns, focus on your customers. What's in it for them? To View More >>

Well, 2020 is nearly over, and most of us won't miss it! It hasn't been as bad for us Kiwis as many of us probably feared — but I'm sure it's been worse than expected for many of you. But it’s time as every year to express our gratitude to the people who make it happen. Thank you first to our clients. Your support, friendship and patience are very much appreciated. We're painfully aware that the end of the year has been made difficult by supply chain and courier issues that will have impacted some of you. We're very grateful that you choose to make us part of your own and your To View More >>

Someone asked the other day why some photographers using Print Shop seem to be selling their prints “quite cheaply”. "I can understand that there is potentially volume in art prints that isn't there with portraits. But I still wonder how a client might feel if the price is significantly lower for an art print." Why might you need to charge differently for your art versus To View More >>
