On a quiet day we get over 50,000 spam emails! One of us alone used to have 3-4000 to deal with. Lucky them. Of course we screen spam in the normal way. In the past we even used to check to see if anything legitimate had been filtered out. It happens occasionally with all filtering systems. But the sheer flood of spam has made this impossible, and forced us to tighten our procedures. If you suspect that your email is not getting through please phone (don't email!) and let us know. We will put your email address on a "white list" to ensure we receive it in future. Best wishes from the Queensberry To View More >>

Bride and groom Suganiya and Brahan married in full traditional Sri Lankan Hindu wedding style in early September this year. Haran of Haran Photography traveled from his base in Wellington, New Zealand, to Melbourne to photograph the event. He says it was the longest wedding he's ever photographed (two days), but it was also his most favoured. A day full of colours, meaningful religious rituals, and decorative features made for some stunning images, and a beautiful album... Click here to view more images from Suganiya and Brahan's wedding on Haran's blog. Cheers, Nigel To View More >>

.... and we do! Our clients look at the covers on our album samples and make judgements on what is inside. It's true! We help them do it. We want them to look at the cover and suspect that there is something very special inside. It was rewarding to know that when the New Zealand album award judges saw our 2009 award album in the first Musee cover they were wowed into silence. This cover demands respect. Working through the range of covers available to us we have made a studio decision to display a specific look for our albums. This makes them recognisable in the wild and it is our aim to earn those To View More >>

Well in excess of 2000 aftershocks later, the region I live in still has no idea when the shaking will stop. [caption id="attachment_9611" align="alignnone" width="333" caption="I arrived at the bride's mum's house, and they had a big crack in their drive that went ..."][/caption] On September 4, 2010, Christchurch (New Zealand) was rudely awoken (4:35am) by a rather large Earthquake (magnitude 7.1 on the Richter scale). The energy released in that one shake is still way in excess of the sum of the energy released by all of the aftershocks, even though many have been over 4 and several To View More >>

[Edited 6 December.] UK clients are doubtless aware that VAT rates are increasing from 17.5% to 20% effective from 4 January 2011. We had understood that it would be necessary for us to charge additional VAT on orders placed but not dispatched before the change date, even if they have been pre-paid, but after reviewing HMRC's anti-forestalling guidance notes this turns out to be incorrect. We're pleased to advise that all orders placed, confirmed and paid for before close-down will incur VAT at the old rate of 17.5%. If you have any questions about your orders or how we're handling this change To View More >>
