We came across this lovely Portrait Album with Photography by John Shetron (US) as it went through the bindery. It's a 12x8 Panorama Flushmount Portrait Album with offset-printed Tintoretto pages and a Carbon Buckram cover. Portrait Albums are great for family photography and to commemorate special days – especially a 90th birthday! Panorama Flushmount pages, with no split at the spine, invite big, bold imagery. This 12x8 album allows for a 12x16 full bleed image. John also sent through a great portrait, "The 90-year-old birthday "boy" on the day of his celebration. Although To View More >>

Our friends in the northern hemisphere may find it hard to imagine the festive season without snow, hot cocoa, and a warm fireplace, but in Auckland, New Zealand, where we're based, Christmas day is more likely to be beach adventures and a barbeque. We spoke to Ant Green  about what makes a New Zealand summer, and our unique festive season, so special. Do you have a favourite or secret go-to spot in NZ? What a tricky question! I love exploring new places. However, there is this one place that is quite out of the way, that you could potentially call secret. My friends probably To View More >>

In my short life I've listened to music played on 7″ and 12″ vinyl records, reel-to-reel tapes, 4-track tapes, 8-track tapes, compact cassettes, CDs, digital audio tapes, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, streaming-music services, and many digital audio formats. With each media came a new player, destined to become outdated and therefore inaccessible. There are lessons in that for photographers… A personal story about media loss, and the pain it causes Earlier this year my wife and I emptied the house where she grew up. We found her childhood box of nearly perfect 45 rpm To View More >>

We're big animal lovers at Queensberry! Portrait Albums are perfect for pet and portrait photography, or even a mixture of the two.  We saw Kelly Wolfe's album as it went through the bindery, and thought you might like to see it too! Kelly has recently returned to photography and is based in North Waikato, New Zealand.  Kelly talks about the importance of having product samples. "It helps inspire ideas when we are planning a portrait session together, and also helps them start thinking about what products might best suit their own space and personal tastes – whether To View More >>

Want prints, wall art and boxes in time for Christmas? Our pre-Christmas deadline for books and albums is coming up fast, but it doesn’t apply to loose prints, canvases, boxes etc. But! although we don’t set deadlines for those products, we strongly recommend getting your orders in early. As time passes it gets harder to be sure you’ll get delivery in time, and if too many people leave their orders until the last minute someone’s bound to be disappointed… So, as we did with albums, here's a little nudge to get your orders in early and beat the Holiday Rush. This weeks 'Share of the Week' goes to New Zealander Amanda King,  who shared her Queensberry Fine Art Prints, featured in her first solo By The Horns exhibition, on Facebook .  Thanks for sharing, Amanda. There’s a wee thank you on its way to you. Amanda King's striking photographs went on display last week at The Woolshed in Darfield, New Zealand. "It was a fantastic night, and The Woolshed Gallery was very fitting for the occasion! The exhibition showcased my rural animal prints and I was selling framed prints on the night. "The exhibition To View More >>

We normally supply our albums in the standard silver-grey leaf-and-crown presentation box, which is included in the price. But sometimes you need a bit more, which is why we also offer an optional Display Box (pictured). Display Boxes  have been a popular upgrade for years. They're a great add-on to any album order, and now we're offering them for 10x10 albums (previously only 12x12 and larger) and in both Pearl and Carbon Buckram. We also introducing more depth options, so we can make them a snugger fit no matter how many pages in your album.  To View More >>

Photographs are the most personal of gifts! Talking about Christmas and the holidays in October seems a little weird, but the holiday season does seem to start earlier every year – and when it comes to marketing, it pays to be prepared. The festive season is a great time to promote yourself to existing customers. You've spent all year taking photographs, so why not maximise the profit on each shoot with online galleries, product sales and special offers? We spoke to retiring Queensberry account manager Michelle about her tips for holiday promotions, and marketing pointers To View More >>

We spoke to Kate Roberge  about what makes a New Zealand summer, and our unique festive season, so special. And what does she do? She sends us photos with snow in them!
