Here are our end-of-year deadlines, carefully set to ensure we can deliver your orders in time for the Holidays. Our dates are always a little cautious because everything we do is made to order, and we ship all over the world. Earlier cut offs help us manage stock requirements, queries, proofs etc. and production during the busiest season. Couriers will also be under heavy demand, so we encourage you to get in early & allow extra time for shipping. As always we always get a lot more work out post cut off, but materials sometimes do run out depending on demand, and not all requests can be met. To View More >>

I've just finished re-watching Barry Schwartz's Ted Talk on The Paradox of Choice. He makes this very important point: Too much choice produces paralysis. Offer people too much choice and they'll find it very difficult to choose at all. Yes, at Queensberry we offer a lot of choice! We know that. We do it because every photographer is different. And we agree, as Barry Schwartz says, that it can be difficult to get your head around. But … if you want to sell products, you need to make the effort, not leave it to your customers.  As our designer friend Donna says, to run a design To View More >>

Since launching Product Preview in Print Shop a lot of you have asked for a way to display both the product preview and your own pre-designed display images (room view images) on the buy page. No sooner said than done! Your customers can now see both when they click through to your shopping cart. And it happens automatically. Just enable Product Preview and any display images you've created will appear as clickable thumbnails under the product preview panel. Click here for more about getting started with Product Preview! When it comes to frames and other wall art products our goals are very simple: • Beautiful prints presented in a way that shows your work at its very best.  • A service that's as close as possible to hands-off for busy professionals.  • Products that can be delivered pretty much anywhere, drop-shipped if you want.  • An easy-to-understand range that you can sell retail through Workspace. With that in mind, we've been working on some updates. Here's what’s new! New frame glazing options (By "glazing" we mean the glass or other material that covers the photo To View More >>

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 International Wedding Photographer of the Year awards. The competition was a great success with more than double the entries of 2017, and over sixty countries represented. The overall winner was Australian Dan O’Day, but of course closest to our hearts was the album category, sponsored by Queensberry, which was taken out by a beautiful entry from Latvian photographer Linda Lauva. It tells the story of a small and very charming DIY wedding on the bride and groom's land, by the river, deep in the Latvian countryside. You can see To View More >>

Categories are a great way to divide images in a Gallery into separate sub-groups. For a wedding, for example, you might have categories called Getting Ready, Ceremony, Reception and so on. That means your clients can jump to the Ceremony images, for example, without having to scroll through hundreds of other photos. You can now upload directly into Categories using the Workspace uploader. Here’s how to create a new Category, and upload directly into a Category using the Workspace uploader. 1. You've seen Amanda King's By the Horns photographs in large format prints, but they look so dramatic in albums too! This is a 15x12 vertical Q-Book Medium with offset printing on Tintoretto to give that textured, watercolour look.  The creamy, 'Eggshell' cover is a vegan-friendly micro leather, appropriate considering the subject matter. ( Amanda, who's based in Canterbury, New Zealand, says anybody who knows her will tell you of her love for animals. "If only I could keep them all as pets.") The lead up to the holidays can be a very lucrative time for photographers, but it can also put pressure on getting product orders in on time, so your clients can have them for the holidays. One way to be very prepared is to bulk order Slip-in Mats and Studio Boxes. In Pearl or Carbon Buckram, these Boxes sell themselves. You can personalise them with your own logo on the lid. Branding products like this turns them into your silent salesmen when your clients take them home. Any unsold boxes or mats can carefully be tucked away for your next print reveal.
