We’re thrilled to announce updates to our online galleries to suit both school AND wedding/portrait photography. Are you a full-time wedding and portrait photographer who shoots a few school or day care sessions? Or maybe you’re the opposite? You focus on school sessions but shoot weddings on the side? Either way, until now you couldn’t do both in one Workspace account — and that didn’t suit everyone! Well, that’s changing. If you have a Pro account, just go to your Workspace Image Galleries, click on New Gallery, and you’ll have three choices To View More >>

Our new Designer Album Box is the perfect way to present your albums. Order it as an optional extra in place of our standard presentation boxes and/or bags. Here are the details: How do I order? On the second page of the album set-up menu in Workspace you'll be asked how you want to present the album. Select Designer Album Box and the material colour. You can order the box plain or with an embossing — either Companion embossing (same as on the album) or Studio embossing. What materials and colours are available? Studios who want to offer "everything Queensberry" have found our starter kits and treasure boxes very useful in the past, but increasingly the data tells us that • Sample Albums are far more effective sales tools, and • not everyone wants to offer all our materials or colours! In fact many studios show nothing but their samples, and offer alternatives only if they're asked. Which is why we’ve redesigned our cover swatches and paper samplers to make them more affordable, and also more flexible — so you can show what you want To View More >>

As told to Cate Scaglione - Life As Fine Art “There is a space between imagination… and attainment…that may only be traversed by… longing.” ― Khalil Gibran, Sand and Foam The story of Cindy Harter Sims is about more than going from part-time hobbyist to full time award-winning photographer. Cindy’s is a tale about longing for all that life has to offer. Photography just happened to be her way of finding it. There is something about an image by Cindy Harter Sims. We caught up with Michael Segal at WPPI in Las Vegas and he said he had the perfect album for us to share on The Queensberry blog. Guns N’ Roses drummer, Matt Sorum and singer/dancer Ace Harper exchanged vows at the Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, California. Beautiful photographs alongside a timeless album design - this 14x10 horizontal Duo is flawless! A Translucent title page adds that extra magic to any Queensberry Album. Ace is stunning in her Monique Lhuillier dress. Duo's are our signature product. Throughout this album, there are a combination of Matted and Flushmount To View More >>

We love meeting New Zealanders doing good things around the world, so it was great to catch up with Rachael and Andy McKenna last night. Born and bred a Kiwi, Rachael has published fourteen books over the course of her career, reflecting her passion for photographing pets and babies. Rachael and Andy have been based in France for the last four years, so no surprise that her latest titles are the delightful The French Cat, The French Dog and Lunch in Provence. Rachael's latest project is The New York Dog. If you're card-carrying dog lovers like us, you'll find the images in this blog post heartwarming. To View More >>

Heather recently returned from a Better By Design US Study Tour bursting at the seams with inspiration and excited to share her journey with the rest of us. Instead of a powerpoint presentation or a sit down discussion of what she learnt, she went about posting her thoughts and snippets of wisdom all over our office walls. (Which we actually think is a lot more fun for us to digest). Above are some of my favorite post-it notes, but to be honest I probably haven't even read them all yet! (There are hundreds). I'm glad Heather had a good trip, and I'm glad she was able to bring some excitement To View More >>
