Offering products in your photography business doesn’t mean turning into a pushy salesperson. (Oh, I've said that before!) Done well, selling is just another form of great service. Here’s how to make it feel effortless and truly valuable — for both you and your clients :) 1. Start with the why Don’t jump straight into product talk. In your interactions with clients, help them understand why printing matters. Share stories, examples, and your own philosophy. Be the person who loves their products! Since launching Product Preview in Print Shop a lot of you have asked for a way to display both the product preview and your own pre-designed display images (room view images) on the buy page. No sooner said than done! Your customers can now see both when they click through to your shopping cart. And it happens automatically. Just enable Product Preview and any display images you've created will appear as clickable thumbnails under the product preview panel. Click here for more about getting started with Product Preview! There are two types of photographers — those who love the sales process, and the rest of us! Yes, most of us really are shy about sales. We don't want to come across like car salesmen or slick real estate people. But we run businesses, and it's sales that make the business world go round. So here are some ideas to boost your album sales without being pushy or sales-y. To sell but stay true to yourself. We thought we should explain where we’re heading in terms of product development over the next few months. There'll be more to come for sure about other products, but this is it for albums. For now! And although we’re working on major updates, especially to our Flushmount and Studio ranges, regular customers will be pleased to know we’ll be tidying up a few anomalies and aggravations in our systems and resources as we go. Please treat what follows as a road map, not a timetable. We’ll make further announcements as things are released. And of course, there’ll To View More >>

Studios who want to offer "everything Queensberry" have found our starter kits and treasure boxes very useful in the past, but increasingly the data tells us that • Sample Albums are far more effective sales tools, and • not everyone wants to offer all our materials or colours! In fact many studios show nothing but their samples, and offer alternatives only if they're asked.  Which is why we’ve redesigned our cover swatches and paper samplers to make them more affordable, and also more flexible — so you can show what you want To View More >>

The lead up to the holidays can be a very lucrative time for photographers, but it can also put pressure on getting product orders in on time, so your clients can have them for the holidays. One way to be very prepared is to bulk order Slip-in Mats and Studio Boxes. In Pearl or Carbon Buckram, these Boxes sell themselves. You can personalise them with your own logo on the lid. Branding products like this turns them into your silent salesmen when your clients take them home. Any unsold boxes or mats can carefully be tucked away for your next print reveal.
