It's nearly the holiday season again, so what better way to celebrate than with a wedding held on the 1st of January this year with a little bit of that christmas feeling! Yukiko and Alex were married at The Church of the Ascension in Burghclere, Hampshire, England, and photographed by Ryan Browne. The reception was held at Highclere Castle which is the set of the ITV drama Downton Abbey and is an amazing setting for a wedding. Ryan says "It was a winter wedding, and with the ceremony quite late on in the day Yukiko and Alex chose to have their portraits shot before the Church ceremony. There is To View More >>

Carla and Tim got married on the 4th of June 2011 at Whirlowbrook Hall. Here's what Carla said about her photographer. "Steve Gerrard was one of our first wedding bookings. His style of photography is artistically modern with more than a hint of super-cool. Because you’re around your photographer a lot, it’s really important to get someone who is on your wavelength & Steve was very much that. Through Steve’s pictures, I could kind of get an idea how our wedding was going to be portrayed and what our album was going to end up like which was really exciting." They are a very cool couple To View More >>

Here's a very cool wedding video in stop-motion, created by Auckland team Bayly & Moore. "Marina + Andy got married in immaculately detailed style in the gorgeous old Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy. You may remember we’d made an album featuring Christian [Oth's] images, but he'd never seen it. We were nervous. Well we finally did catch up, and he loved it. Then Johannes [van Kan’s] album of Virginia and Richard’s wedding won at WPPI. You can view his complete album on Youtube (no audio) or Vimeo (recommended: this is the To View More >>

Lauren and Colin were photographed by Leah Kua at a location that is very special to them - their family property in Kurrajong, New South Wales, Australia. This was their beloved engagement session in preparation for their wedding this year on December 9. They chose a 10x7 Duo to showcase their favourite beloved images as a guest book. This book will eventually become a set, along with their Queensberry wedding album. "Beloved sessions are so incredibly close to my heart as an artist" Leah says, "they are so unique because they capture and celebrate the true beauty and uniqueness of a couples relationship. Click here for Part 1. Who are those people ... the ones staring back at you thinking, 'What does he/she want us to do?' More importantly, how do they see the unfolding of their day? Is it a fairy tale? Is it some kind of weird reality show? Is it a 'performance'? Is it the beginning of something amazing? Is it a huge party? Is it something their mother planned? Is it theirs? That's the thing. We, as the image makers, also become the storytellers. We create the vocabulary for describing the unfolding of the day. If we don't photograph something, will it still be remembered in ten years time? To View More >>

Shwetha and Matt were married on July 2, 2011 at the Springfield Country Club in a traditional Christian service. To complete their 'tale of two cities', they are also heading to India in November for a Hindu wedding ceremony. They were photographed by Michelle Lindsay Photography - and here's what Michelle said about their wedding day. "I think what I love the most about Shwetha and Matt is how easy going they are. They love to laugh, which makes being around them extremely comfortable. Since Shwetha lived in NYC, we hadn't been able to do an engagement session so the wedding day was their first To View More >>
